Our Pastor // Jacey Davison
​
Jacey, along with his wife Julie and daughters Kaiya (3) and Winsley (1), have been part of Ascension since its inception. Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Jacey moved to Grand Rapids in 2018 to attend Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary (M.Div, 2021). He and Julie were married in 2019 and quickly joined the team planting Grace Fellowship OPC in Zeeland MI, where Jacey worked as a pastoral intern for nearly 3 years. In 2022 he began working with Pastor Steve Igo at Cedar OPC in Jenison MI as a church planting intern, where the dream of Ascension Church began to take shape. Jacey and Julie love opening their home to others, playing board games around the table, and hiking in God's beautiful creation!

As a daughter church plant of Cedar Church (Jenison, MI), Ascension Church falls under the leadership of Cedar—it's pastors, elders, and deacons. We also graciously benefit from assistance from their staff.
